Brand New DrakeBell.com Has Launched

Drake's offcial website got a whole new look. It's a more complete site then previous versions. We now have a news section, a well-designed tour dates section, a movies and tv section (more bio-esque format) , a photo gallery, a well-designed social area (it's labeled forums), a bio section, information about Drake's involvement in the thirst project, and a store that has not been launched just yet. Content-wise this site is very extensive. Design-wise, there are a few odd choices, but I can tell a lot of time was put into it. All in all I like how it came out. Don't let the simplicity of the home page fool you either. Check it out at http://drakebell.com. And please note this is a bit bandwidth intensive so if you're wi-fi signal isn't very strong, you may want to view the site wired.

Drake Bell Will Self-Release an EP Called "A Reminder"

According to AOL, Drake is releasing an EP called "A Reminder" on June 28 with the single, "Teriffic" dropping on June 14! In addition to the single, the EP will include You're Not Thinking, Big Shot, and Speak My Mind.

Speaking on why he chose to self-release an EP at this time, Bell says, “I have so much going on right now with my acting, and a full album will probably not happen until next year. I wanted to release these four tracks for my fans. They haven’t had new music for a while.”

Fans will hear a more mature Bell on the EP’s first track, “Terrific.” “The song is really about calling someone out on not being themselves,” said Bell. “People growing up and trying to fit into different scenes, getting into different things that aren’t necessarily good for them or who they are. Trying to be someone that they’re not, and maybe shouldn’t be, and watching that happen right before your eyes," he added.
