Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man Debuting on April 1st

On April 1, 2011, Disney XD will debut its newest animated series, Ultimate Spider-Man, starring Drake Bell as Peter Parker / Spiderman. The show will be part of an entire Sunday programming block dedicated to Marvel Universe including The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes!, Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, and Captain America

Acting as the keystone of the Marvel Universe block, "Ultimate Spider-Man" features a teenage Peter Parker juggling the typical growing pains of high-school with the not-so-typical growing pains of being a super hero. As the newest member of Nick Fury's S.H.I.E.L.D. organization, Peter finds himself on a team with four other teenage super heroes.

Drake Bell to Lend His Voice to Ultimate Spider-Man for 2012

DC Comics writer Paul Dini is producing an animated TV series of Spider-Man. According to io9, Drake will be voicing the Spider-Man character. Alongside Drake will be J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson, Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson, Chi McBride as Nick Fury and creator Stan Lee as himself. The series is set to air on Disney XD in 2012.

Battle of the Brothers Australian Special

For those of you in Australia, Drake Bell, along with former castmate Jerry Trainor will be hosting an iCarly/Drake and Josh marathon. They will be spilling episode information all while deciding who's Miranda Cosgrove's best on-screen brother. The marathon starts this Monday, December 20 and lasts all week from 12-4pm.
